The Design of Soil Revitalization in Port Project
by ANGGITA PRISILIA SOELISTYO The port, as the central point in the distribution and connectivity of maritime transportation, is crucial for the economic development of a region. Environmental factors such as wave changes, erosion, and natural disaster risks pose challenges to the sustainability of port structures. In-depth analysis of alternative concrete revetment structures is needed as a solution for soil retention, with the aim of finding alternatives suitable for the geotechnical conditions in the West Java region. The research process is based on existing soil data, which is then mapped into PLAXIS 2D. The data used includes wave data, mooring, berthing, and live loads. In the modeling of alternatives, a concrete revetment port structure with a left side supported by tetrapods should be considered. Analysis is conducted to assess deflection values, bending moments, and safety factors for each construction phase. The results of the analysis using PLAXIS 2D indicate that the concrete revetment with dimensions W-350-A does not meet the required cracking moment and deflection. Therefore, an increase in the dimensions of the concrete revetment to CCSP W-600-B with a length of 12 meters is proposed. It is found that the deflection value is 0.015 m < 0.06 m. The safety factor value for the concrete slab construction process is 2.1 > 1.25. In conclusion, the CCSP W-350-A concrete slab is still unable to withstand lateral forces from wave loads and ship impacts. It is recommended to increase the dimensions of the concrete dock to CCSP W-600-B, thus ensuring that the safety factor value for the CCSP-W-600-B concrete revetment meets the standard
