The covid-19 epidemic, which first surfaced and expanded quickly and decimated the global economy in 2020, making it a difficult year for the entire world. The private industrial sector is one of the many areas that have been impacted by this pandemic. The covid-19 pandemic has started to recede and has become endemic in numerous nations, ushering in a new era for humanity. Despite beginning to recede, the threat posed by covid-19 mutations that have surfaced in several nations needs to be taken seriously. Despite covid 19, the number of pollutants created by traffic, industrial waste, mining, and excavation activity causes global air quality to keep declining. (Zakaria & Azizah, 2013).

Applying a green building environment is one strategy to overcome the threat of mutation in the private sector and also decrease air pollution. A green building is a sustainable building that leads to structures and processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout the building’s life cycle, from site selection to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and designation. The building is said to have implemented the green building concept if it is successful through an evaluation process called the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) (Widyawati, 2018)
