Learning Outcomes:

On successful completion of this course, student will be able to: Describe the soil types and its properties, and the definition of surveying engineering and its application in civil engineering; Classify soil physical properties base on its behaviours and use the appropriate surveying equipments; Evaluate the water influence to soil behaviours and calculate the matters relating to surveying engineering and its application in civil engineering; Calculate the basic analysis of soil mechanic matters; Design the drawing and diagram of situation mapping.
