ANALYSIS OF SPECIAL MOMENT FRAME STRUCTURE BEHAVIOR IN CASE OF SHORT COLUMN VARIATIONS FOR 10 AND 15 STORY BUILDINGS USING RESPONSE SPECTRUM AND LINEAR TIME HISTORY METHODS

This research aims to determine the values of the natural period, base shear force, inter-story drift, short column displacement, internal forces in short columns, the amount of longitudinal reinforcement, and the spacing of transverse reinforcement in short columns for 10 and 15-story buildings with slopes of 0 degrees (flat), 5 degrees (slight slope), 10 degrees (moderate slope), and 15 degrees (steep slope). This study also aims to provide an understanding of the structural behavior, particularly of short columns, under the applied loads.
