On the 8th of December 2015, our freshmen year students conducted a site visit to the Karian Dam Project located in Lebak, Banten. This project is a collaboration project between The Ministry of Public Work and The Republic of Korea through Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The Karian Dam project started in the mid of 2015, and is estimated to finish in 2019. This dam will be able to contain 209 million m3 of water and able to flow through 1,740 hectares of land. The water from Karian Dam will be able to be supplied to several areas, such as cities like Serang, Cilegon, Rangkas Bitung, Parung Panjang, Tigaraksa, Serpong, Maja and DKI Jakarta.
