Officer Development Program at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk

Graduating from Civil Engineering at Binus University in 2023, my journey has been shaped not just by what I learned in class, but through real-world experiences and meaningful collaborations. During my final year, I completed a one-year internship at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), where I contributed to a flood control project along the Bekasi River. It gave me first-hand exposure to how infrastructure can directly improve people’s lives — from planning to execution.

Starting in my 8th semester, I also worked as a Junior Laboratory Assistant at Binus University for 1.5 years. In this role, I supported student learning, led lab sessions, managed collaborative academic projects, and even handled social media to build brand awareness for the lab. It was a great space to sharpen my teaching, communication, and project coordination skills while making civil engineering more accessible and engaging for others.

In 2025, I took a leap and transitioned into the banking industry. I was selected for the Officer Development Program at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk — a leadership track under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) aimed at preparing future leaders. While this move might seem unconventional, I believe my background in engineering has equipped me with a problem-solving mindset, analytical thinking, and adaptability — all of which are just as valuable in finance.

To me, building a career isn’t about staying in one lane — it’s about how fast you can learn, grow, and contribute, no matter where you are.
