On Thursday, February 22, 2024, a study visit was conducted at the laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta. Representatives from Bina Nusantara University’s Civil Engineering department, namely Dr. Ir. Oki Setyandito, S.T., M.Eng., IPM, the Head of Department of Civil Engineering Bina Nusantara University and Muhammad Hafiz Aslami S.T., M. Eng., PhD, the Lecturer Specialist Doctor participated in the exchange. The visit aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two institutions, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of laboratory practices and research methodologies in civil engineering. Throughout the day, Mr. Oki Setyandito and Mr. Hafiz engaged in discussions with faculty members of Muhammadiyah University, exchanging insights on experimental techniques, equipment utilization, and ongoing research projects. Hands-on demonstrations and laboratory tours provided invaluable learning experiences, enabling the visitors to observe firsthand the facilities and resources available at Muhammadiyah University. The study visit concluded with fruitful discussions and plans for future collaborations, highlighting the importance of such exchanges in promoting academic excellence and innovation in the field of civil engineering.
